Avatar: The Way of Water
We're proud to present a range of artworks crafted to express the vibrant world of Pandora. We were determined to express the bountiful textures, landscapes, and personalities found across the film. The result is a set of expressive artworks - used throughout the Disney Avatar Franchise.
We felt it was crucial to explore texture as a major feature in the overall project. This first wave of sketches aims to capture the flowing, gestural, and aquatic features of the story. A theme that carries into the final works.
Riding on this wave of creative energy, we moved into final compositions. The completed artworks ranged from a gestural, watercolor & ink style to full on vectored graphics, and finally a set of strong black & white graphite drawings.
